 Founded in 1989, Postal Appliances and Outfits Testing Centre is designed to be a testing organization of postal appliances and outfits quality.

 In 1995, the office passed the measure authentication of former National Quality and Technology Superintended Bureau and passed the authentication of former Postal and Telecommunication Department. In 2005, the office passed the authentication of National Qualification Evaluation Authentication Committee and lab appraisal jointly set by Information Industry Ministry and China State Post Bureau. The office is the only organization that passes the lab appraisal authentication.

 The testing centre has 5 laboratories including mechanics lab, optics lab, environment lab, security and electromagnetism compatible lab and constant temperature and humidity lab.

 Eight categories, 70 products and about 100 testing projects covering almost all postal industry products standard testing project. have passed the authentication of National Qualification Evaluation Committee.
